Enricom A/S’ sphere of operations focuses on forest properties abroad and renewable energy plants primary i Eastern Europe.
Enricom owns the Polish subsidiary Hedeselskabet Sp. z o.o., which owns and operates three renewable energy plants located in the towns of Legajny, Lubna and Sosnowiec in Poland.
The energy plants recover gas produced at landfill sites and thereby prevent the potent greenhouse gas methane from seeping out into the atmosphere. This helps to limit the greenhouse effect and thereby global warming, whilst at the same time replacing the use of fossil fuels in energy production.
The renewable energy activities within Enricom also include the transfer of carbon credits, where the first contracts have already been signed between Denmark and Poland.
Enricom also manages DDH’s and other stakeholders’ forest investments abroad, and works on the basis of realising DDH’s strategy of increasing its portfolio of forest and rural properties.
We invest extensively in forest and rural properties in a number of East and West European countries in collaboration with external investors, and we have established subsidiary in Latvia.
